Thanks for joining me!

Do you feel like life is an never ending list of tasks? Are you fed up and searching for something more? Suffering with anxiety and depression I began asking – Surely life is about more than this?  I began to seek answers.  I discovered that many people were talking about an inner shift in consciousness, that could bring about a more peaceful and fulfilling life experience.

“My brain is only a receiver, in the Universe there is a core from which we obtain knowledge, strength and inspiration. I have not penetrated into the secrets of this core, but I know that it exists.”
― Nikola Tesla

I have decided to blog about my journey.  I am learning about the magic of nature, and the forgotten wisdom of our ancient ancestors.  Science is discovering some knowledge that could be said to support understandings of spirituality and traditional thinking.  However, all the knowledge in the world can not dominate the value of experience and feeling through our senses.  Noticing what exists when we slow down and pay attention to our surroundings.  Being aware of what is happen inside ourselves, observing thoughts and emotions. A realisation that we are alive and connected to everything. Most important is using this insight to influence the way we act or react and understanding the power we have to grow, change and transform.

My personal motivation to begin this blog was:

I had the idea to blog about what I was discovering, which I tried to ignore, dismiss and forget with no lasting success, as the feeling of regret would grow. I simply couldn’t escape the idea that I should do this.

I wanted to record this journey. I had no idea where it might go and what I may learn, experience or realise. If for no other reason than to prove to myself that I am not going insane.

I want to connect with others. My hope is that my blog with link with others people on similar journeys.
